JoAlla Jones Nutt

JoAlla Jones Nutt, 74, of DeWitt passed away August 28, 2020. She was born February 25, 1946 in Stuttgart to Levi and Edrie Ann Price Jones. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in DeWitt, the American Legion Auxiliary, and served in many ways for the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association. She loved reading, and if you dropped by her house that's usually what you would find her doing. JoAlla loved going to her great nieces softball games. She loved being with her family and friends, and being in the middle of everything! JoAlla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Randal Nutt; her grandparents Mack and Anna Price and Agnes Price. She is survived by her children Andrea Perry of DeWitt, James "Bubba" Nutt (Kerri) of Almyra, Aaron Nutt of Ethel, and Gary Padgett (Meagan) of Almyra; one granddaughter Randi Jo Simpson of DeWitt; two great- granddaughters Charli and Harper Simpson; sister Anna Marie McKewen (Monte) of Ethel; niece Melody McKewen (Brian); great nieces Gracie and Sadie Smith; and great nephew Levi Smith.
