MAMIE THOMASSON CRANE, 95, of Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born August 22, 1925, in Herbine, daughter of Edgar and Myrtle Workman Thomasson. Mrs. Crane was reared and received her early education in Woodlawn, graduating from Woodlawn High School in 1945. She moved to Pine Bluff and later married Delbert Crane November 24, 1948, in Pine Bluff, to whom she was married 56 years. Mrs. Crane was an active member and volunteer of Olive Street (now Olive Branch) Missionary Baptist Church. She fiercely loved family, enjoyed camping as a member of the Cotton Pickers Club, cooking, reading and serving others as evidenced by over 30 years volunteering at Davis Nursing Home. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, an infant brother Leon, Guy, E.C. (Ed), James (Bud), Charles and Jewell (Pete) Thomasson; and three sisters, Opal Green, Eunice Owen and Lois Taylor. Survivors include two sons, Dwain Crane (Karen) of Chapin, South Carolina and Steve Crane (Sheila) of Magnolia; daughter, Terri Lynn O'Donnell (Michael) of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Betty James of Rison; four grandchildren, Whitney Brooke Crane Burley, Ashley Crane Elliott (Will), Courtney Crane Curry (Jason) and Jill O'Donnell Kirkpatrick (Drew); and seven great-grandchildren, Carson Curry, Cameron Curry, Savannah Elliott, Harper Elliott, Conner Burley, Landon Burley and Keagan Kirkpatrick. Visitation will be at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors, Pine Bluff, Ark., from noon – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, White Hall, Ark. All current state COVID-19 guidelines will apply.
