Louise Johnson Craft

Louise Johnson Craft, was born July 4, 1940, to the late Luther Johnson and Lillie Cooley Johnson of North Little Rock, Ark. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Louise accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at Zion Grove Baptist Church, North Little Rock at the age of 13. Louise Married the love of her life Benjamin Craft Jr. on July 1, 1957, and to this union six children were born. Louise and Benjamin were married for 51 years until his death in 2008. Louise attended Pulaski County Training School in North Little Rock Class of 1958. After graduation, Louise attended Arkansas Baptist College, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 1991. Louise departed this life, Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 12:30 p.m. She slept away peacefully, with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. Preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lillie Johnson, husband, Benjamin Craft Jr., Mother-in-law, Margaret Fulton Craft, sister-in-law, Zollie Wilkins, special aunt, Hazel Cooley Rodgers and daughter, Rachel O'Markori and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Smith. Left to celebrate her life and special memories; two sons, Wayne Craft (Bennie) of Little Rock, Anthony Craft (Jean) of North Little Rock, three daughters; Natalie Evonne Amerine (James) of Jacksonville, Kathy Landers (Darryl) of Jacksonville, Johnna Suzette Smith (Reginald) of Little Rock; two brothers, Andrew Smalley (Gwen) of Frederick, Md., and Lee Smith of Oklahoma City, Okla; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Public Viewing: Saturday, 9:30-11 a.m., and Service beginning at 11, all at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Jacksonville, Ark., Pastor Craig Collier officiating.
