We wish to celebrate the remarkable life of NANCY RUTH OGDEN BOOP, born July 26, 1934 and died December 22, 2020. She grew up in Knoxville, Tenn., with her younger sister, Louise Ogden Wyman. Nancy and her lifelong soulmate, Warren Clark Boop, Jr., were high school sweethearts who eloped to North Carolina April 13, 1953. When asked "What do I owe you" for this marriage service, the Justice of the Peace replied, "What's she worth"? 67 married years later, her love for all children, family and community proved her priceless. Nancy always gave more than she received. She enjoyed leading several church and community organizations. As President of the Arkansas Medical Auxiliary, she creatively gave her Presidential address as a Rap song. Nancy was a strong Navy mom, raising the kids while Warren was at sea, moving frequently until the family settled in Little Rock in 1969. Nancy is survived by Warren C. Boop Jr., Frederick A. and Lee Ann Boop, Lynda M. Boop and Stanley N. Williams, Bradley S. Boop, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We will miss Nancy's love of life, and endless love of puns. If you wish to send a memorial, please donate to the second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Dr. Little Rock Ark., 72227. Send condolences to warren.boop@sbcglobal.net. Arrangements by Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, Ark., 72205. (501) 224-2200.
