Thurman Walter Booth Jr. went to Heaven on February 4, 2020. He was born December 27, 1941 and a second time in February of 1948 at First Baptist Church in Terry, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Thurman W. Booth Sr. and Maidie Pearl Combs Booth; and one brother, Henry Few Booth, who only lived seven days. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Ruff Booth; his daughters, Shara Dawn Booth Brazear and Dara Lynn Booth; his granddaughters, Peyton Elisse Barnes (Chase) and Briley Elaine Moody (Ryan); two brothers, Billy Booth (Theresa) of Covington, La. and John Booth (Sue) of Hannibal, Mo.; five nieces and nephews, Dr. Angela Wingfield, Paul Booth, Shelly Taylor, David Booth, Joel Booth and a host of relatives and friends. He worked 52 years as a wildlife biologist, as State Director for The United States Department of the Interior and The United States Department of Agriculture-Wildlife Services. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
