James E. Doman Jr. (Eddy) passed away in Honor Health Hospital Osborn in Scottsdale, Arizona on July 1, 2020. He was 42 years old. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Doman of Scottsdale, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Doman, Sr., his uncle, Joe Doman, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Eddy was also survived by his aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Kaneaster Hodges Jr., his aunt, Mrs. Russell Clinton III, his aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Mack Mankey, his uncle, Roger Doman and many cousins. Eddy has been described as humorous, loving, and someone who others had fun being with. He enjoyed his Church group, loved sports, friends, and plays. Eddy received his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Arkansas where he was considered one of the greatest Razorback fans ever. Eddy practiced law in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Phoenix, Arizona, passing the Bar Examination in both states. Eddy was very close to his father Ed. They had long conversations enjoying their time together. Eddy's life was affected greatly when his father Ed passed away in 2013. His mother Carolyn was able to move to Arizona to be closer to her son in September of 2019. Eddy and his mother took the time to discuss very important issues and the most wonderful Almighty God who blessed them both. Eddy was deeply concerned recently with the unrest, and fear caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, but would have encouraged his friends to be joyful even in the midst of this time. Eddy reached out to all of his friends with kindness when they were going through a difficult time and would encourage others to do the same. He was able to reach out to dear friends who then went forward with hope and encouragement. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Carolyn was unable to be with Eddy in the hospital. He learned then how valuable life is. We are all aware of how precious life is when our children are born. Eddy asked Jesus Christ as his Savior and understood what Jesus Christ provided everyone on the cross. Even in his last days, he would tell you the most important gift is an eternal life that only Jesus Christ provides. Now Eddy has been taken to heaven and will be with Jesus Christ forever. Carolyn would like to encourage all people to pray for her and to not to lose the opportunity to reach out to others who have needs or who are experiencing loneliness. She would also like to thank all those who have prayed for her and Eddy during this time. As a child, Eddy gave his allowance to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
