Leslie Duane Richards

Leslie Duane Richards, 83, of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was born January 25, 1937, in Owego, N.Y., to the late Donald Silas and Alice Pearl VanHuesen. Mr. Richards was also preceded by his twin sister, Lucy; sisters, Rosalie and Donna; and by two brothers, Al and Ray. Following graduation he proudly served in the US Air Force. The Richards family relocated to Northwest Arkansas more than 50 years ago. He enjoyed a career as a machinist and retired from RTW as Production Supervisor to enjoy golf, fishing, woodworking and farming. Leslie is survived by his loving wife of nearly 61 years, Julia Richards; his daughter, Terrie Chisholm (Mike) of Bentonville; his son, Joe Richards (Monica Mathias) of Georgia; his sisters, Joannie Douglas and Jackie Cole of New York state; a brother, John Richards of New York; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members, associates and dear friends.
