W.I. Bell

W.I Bell was born February 24, 1942 in El Dorado to William Ira Bell, II and Mildred Morris Bell. He was the photographer and co-owner of W.I. Bell Photographer Studio. He started his career in Burbank, Calif. photographing celebrities and in 1983 W.I. and Sue opened up their photography studio in El Dorado. He photographed many members of the community doing weddings, senior portraits, dance recitals and sports events. W.I. retired after a long career in 2015. After his retirement, he and Sue enjoyed many camping trips and their grandchildren. He had numerous hobbies which included photography, collecting cameras, riding bicycles, playing Bongo drums, watching movies and reading books. He appreciated all forms of art and collecting items. He was a musician and actor for many years while in California before returning to his home town. He was a member of Lawson Baptist Church. Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister, Julie and a step-daughter, Kim Weber. He is survived by his wife, Sue Talley Martin Bell of 37 years; two sons, Dude Bell of El Dorado, Kirk Martin (Amy) of El Dorado and a daughter, Sondra Luttrell (Rel) of Little Rock; son-in-law, Joseph Weber of northwest Arkansas; grandchildren, Laura Martin and her husband David Neel of El Dorado, Rachel Martin (Chad) of Minnesota, Jonathan Martin of El Dorado, Morgan Deblieux of El Dorado, Devin Deblieux (Mary Ann) of El Dorado, Katy Quarles (Blu) of Camden and Kyle Luttrell and Kara Luttrell, Thomas Weber and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Haiti Education Foundation, P.O.
