Hollis Dee Tisdale

Hollis Dee Tisdale, 72 of Mt. Holly, formerly of Star City, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at El Dorado Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1947 in Malden, Mo. He was in the Army National Guard; member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Star City; and was retired a retired butcher with Piggly Wiggly. Preceding him in death were his wife, Elizabeth Diane Palmer Tisdale; mother, Odelle White Henley; father, Horace Tisdale; daughter, Melanie Crump; and sister, Patsy Tisdale. Survivors include a son, Shawn Tisdale of Star City; two daughters, Dana (Bobby) Beegle and Dawn Nuckols, both of Mt. Holly; brother, Mike (Billie) Henley of Star City; sister, Audrey (Rickey) West of Star City; eight grandchildren, Clay Beegle, Nye (Chloe) Nuckols, Seth Beegle, Brody Nuckols, Julie Tisdale, Ashlynn Tisdale, Brice Crump and Kylie Crump; and two great-grandchildren, Jacks Nuckols and Kynlee Beegle. Graveside services are at 3:30 p.m., Sunday at Green Mount Cemetery near Star City with Bro. Donnie Gordon officiating. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Griffin Funeral Service. Only 50 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and a mask will be required. Pallbearers are Clay Beegle, Seth Beegle, Nye Nuckols, Brody Nuckols, Brice Crump and Bobby Beegle.
