Joan Smith

Joan Smith, 89, of Pine Bluff, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was born April 12, 1931, in Lake Village, to John and Ruby Ford Cunningham, and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1949. Mrs. Smith and her husband owned and operated Catfish Kitchen for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Smith; her parents; daughter-in-law, Paula Smith; great-grandchildren, Catherine Ann Fakouri and Bennett Ross Smith. Survivors include her children, Cindy Fakouri (Duke), Willy Smith (Sherry), Donny Smith, Jimmy Smith (Tammy), and Candy Hillis (Gary); grandchildren, Jason Fakouri, John Fakouri (Maggie), Bill Smith, Chase Smith (Taylor), Dustin Smith (Josie), Brandon Smith (Alisha), Jarrod Smith, Brooke Johnson (Ryan), Britten Stone (Scott), Billy Ryan Smith (Regina), Brook Cummings, Ashlee Wells (Tony), and Josh Hillis; great-grandchildren, Nick Fakouri, Lola Fakouri, Ruby Fakouri, Jake Fakouri, Landon Smith, Zach Smith, Bentley Smith, Mashaya Smith, Brody Smith, Jack Johnson, Millie Johnson, Hayden Stone, Ethan Stone, Kade Stone, Rylee Wells, and Kyler Wells; a sister, Mary Louise Flanneary; a sister-in-law, Polly Smith Reynolds; and Lawonna Whaley, long-time Caregiver.
