Henry P. Reeves

Henry P Reeves, age 92, died Monday, September 28, 2020 in Warren, Arkansas. He was born the youngest of ten children in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 8, 1928. HP graduated from Mabelville High School and entered the US Air Force. He served in the US Air Force from 1951-1959 and was stationed in Tachikawa, Japan from 1952-1954. He began a career with Kroger which spanned 45 years (1944-1989), where he made many countless friendships. HP enjoyed playing golf, going on trips, and spending time with his family whom he cherished. He married Avanelle Mary Palmer, April 6, 1957, who survives, and they have loved and cherished each other ever since. He is also survived by his son, David and his wife, Cathy, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his granddaughter, Katie, of Lexington, Kentucky, and his grandson, Ben of Bowling Green, Kentucky. HP was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maude Sibley Reeves. His siblings: John C. Jr, Wanda Mae, James Marcel, Maude, Estelle, James Arvid, Clara Mae, Floye, and Baby Grace. HP was also preceded by his grandson, Matthew Ryan Reeves. Memorials are preferred to the Bradley County Veterans Museum or First United Methodist Church of Warren, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 1,2020 at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Gary Harrison officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at Frazer's Chapel (mask required).
