Sgt. Cortez T. Hill, 21, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed on Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Wahiawa, Hawaii. He was born on February 1, 1999, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Sherman Hill and Vernette (Barron) Garrett. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Vernette (Barron) Garrett of Pine Bluff, Ark.; eleven brothers, La'Travius Hill, Kaylen Hill, Jaylen Hill, Sherman Hill, Jr., Camron Hill, Dekoda Hill, Amani Hill, Damarion Hill, Kelsey Hill, and Zechariah Hill all of Pine Bluff, Ark.; six sisters, Curnetta Garrett, Curswala Garrett, Tatyana Hill, Trinity Battles, Shakira Hill, and Italy Hill all of Pine Bluff, Ark.; his grandparents, Charles Phillips of Detroit, Mich., and Rosie Hill-Cannon of Pine Bluff, Ark. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Isaac Barron.
