Ellen Louise Casey

Ellen Louise Featherston Casey, 88, of Gravette, Ark., died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Brookfield Assisted Living in Bella Vista. She was born November 26, 1931, the daughter of Samuel and Ollie Featherston. Ellen graduated from Bentonville High School in 1949 and enjoyed her monthly class luncheons. She also enjoyed embroidering tea towels. May 27, 1950, Ellen married Al Casey in Bentonville. They lived in Wichita, Kan., until 1961, when they moved to Arkansas where she worked for Benton County as a delinquent tax collector. She was a member of New Home Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Al Casey; her parents; two brothers; and one sister. Ellen is survived by one son, Frank Casey (Linda) of Gravette; one daughter, Carol Wills (David) of Gravette; two grandchildren, Mindy Bryant (Doug) of Gravette, Cole Casey of Bentonville; step-grandchildren Cathleen Petty of Centerton, Christine West of Rogers; and two great-grandsons, Corbin Casey of Commerce, Okla., Kendal Bryant of Gravette; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 17, at Bethel Cemetery in Gravette, Ark., with Randy Featherston officiating.
