Mildred "Millie" Ann McCarty, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Southern Trace Rehab and Care Center in Bryant. She was born July 29, 1936, in Star City, to the late Marion Leslie and Ada Lee Pickens Wynn. Millie was a member of 1st Assembly of God Church in Pine Bluff, where she was a member of the Sonshiners. She was a retired school teacher with Star City Schools and Ridgeway Christian in Pine Bluff, where she served as a past School Board Member. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Gerald Wynn and Leon Wynn; and a step-son, Kevin McCarty. Survivors include her husband, Gene McCarty of Pine Bluff; son, James Michael "Mike" (Susan) Cole of Holladay, Tenn.; three daughters, Debra Jean (Jerry) Cole Harrison of Star City, Patricia "Dianne" (Billy) Cole Harvey of Grady and Rebecca "Becky" Lynn (Bill) Cole Deeb of Star City; step-son, Scott McCarty of Fayetteville; step-daughter, Stephanie Anthony of McGehee; brother, Weldon (Carolyn) Wynn of Star City; sister, Sharon Kay Carroll of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren, Branson Chad (Amy) Harrison, Leslie (Bubba) Humphrey, Steven Harvey, Kaci Rhae (Chris) Brown, Kylie Wynn Deeb, Kendall Cole (Michael) Deeb Steele, Kathryn Cole, Caroline Cole, Zach Anthony, Austin Calloway, Brooklyn Calloway and Rayvin Calloway; five great-grandchildren, Hannah (Sawyer) Moix, Braxton Harvey and Weston, Aerie and Finley Brown; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services are 10 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Drake Cemetery near Star City with Pastor Pat Hart officiating. Visitation is Saturday, 9 a.m. until service time at the cemetery.
