Vernon Madewell

Vernon Madewell, 56, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Fayetteville. He was born to the late James and Sharon Madewell. He loved to hunt and fish. Vernon never met a stranger. He loved to help elderly people in any way he could. Vernon was a good Christian man and his faith ran deeper than anyone knew. He is survived by his wife, Charlene of the home; one brother, Steve; a niece; two uncles, Harold Emitt and Jess R. Madewell; three aunts, Judy Madewell, Alta May Madewell and Vinnie Collins. Vernon was dearly loved by his wife and family. He loved all his family, but Carl Madewell and Felicia and Billy Hickman held a special place in his heart. Also, all the people that he and his dad coon hunted and fished with (and everyone who taught him things growing-up). His wishes were to be cremated with no services.
