Esther Mae (Thompson) McGill

Esther Mae (Thompson) McGill passed away October 15, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, under Hospice Care at the age of 90. Born in Bald Knob, Ark., on October 4, 1930, to parents George Walter and Miriam Thompson, Esther was one of four children, mother to six, grandma to sixteen, friend to all, and leaves a legacy of love and a life well lived. Esther grew up in the cotton fields of Eastern Arkansas. After marrying Roy McGill in 1946, they later moved to the "city"–and lived in Southgate, Mich., until retiring to White County, Arkansas in 1976. Esther was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Roy; and three of her children. She is survived by two daughters, Lydia Conner and Treva McGill, and a son, Jim McGill.
