Louis S. Jones

Louis S. Jones, 85, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Monday, October 20, 2020. Born October 29, 1934, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Jasper and Naomi Jones. He is survived by his children, Deborah Jones, Darlene Johnson of Farmers Branch, Texas, Donna Barr (Tyler) of Atlanta, Ga., and Dawn Orupabo; eight grandchildren, Alexander Jones, Jeremy Jones, Orlando Utsey of Arlington, Texas, Justin Utsey, Lawrence Johnson Jr., Amber Johnson, Samuel Johnson, and Christian Barr of Atlanta, Ga.; and twenty great-grandchildren; Leodis Jones of Chicago, Illinois, Rufus Jones (Gloria) of Indianola, Miss., Earnest Jones of Pine Bluff, Ark., Leo Jones of Sherwood, Ark., Johnny Jones of Memphis, Tenn., and sister Minnie B. Rayford of Pine Bluff, Ark. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Daisy M. Jones; brother, Leon Jones; and sister, Ruthie Jones. A walk-thru viewing will be held at 1 p.m. -6 p.m., at Premier Funeral Home in Little Rock, Ark. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark. State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required.
