Richard Edward Peck, age 84, of Searcy, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, in Beebe. He was born December 15, 1935, in Baldwinsville, N.Y., to Charles Wilbur Peck and Elizabeth Margaret (Kellehar) Peck. He worked several years as a school administrator, a professor at Harding University, and was a member of College Church of Christ. He is survived by one son, Stephen Peck, and wife, Debbie, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Shari Adcock, and husband Steve, of Heber Springs, Ark.; four grandchildren, Joshua Peck of Phoenix, Ariz., Summer Enriquez of Rogers, Shelby Sparkman, and husband Joshua, of Little Rock, Alisha Edmunson of Jackson, Tenn.; seven great-grandchildren, Landon Peck of Dallas, Texas, Macey Lovelace of Denton, Texas, Meah Murillo of Rogers, Ella Peck of Dallas, Madden Murillo of Rogers, Eillyana Enriquez of Rogers, Wade Sparkman of Little Rock; and two sisters, Tammy Peck of Liverpool, N.Y., and Betsy Mills of Baldwinsville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Peck; wife, Jeanine Peck; and three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 10 a.m. at College Church of Christ in Searcy, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family has requested memorials be made in his name to Camp Hunt, Inc., 4268 Wetzel Road, Liverpool, N.Y. 13090. Due to the most recent COVID-19 directive, face covering must be worn at all times.
