Michael J. Taraska

Michael J. Taraska, 97, of Bella Vista, Ark., died in his home on October 23, 2020. He was born on March 19, 1923, in Crivitz, Wisc., to Joseph Taraksa and Anna Mikrut Taraska. He was a Eucharistic Minister in Muskego, Wisc., and worked as a painter for Harnischfeger Industries for 41 1/2 years before moving to Bella Vista in 1988. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church where he was a Mass server and usher. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith; brothers, Frank, Peter, Joseph, John, Thomas, Vincent; sisters, Tilly, Katherine, Polly; half-brother, Ernest; and half-sister, Rose. He is survived by one sister, Josephine Noll, and husband, Harvey of Coleman, Wisc.; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m., at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, Friday, October 30.
