Evelyn Sue Cunningham

Evelyn Sue (Barker) Jones Cunningham was born on May 12, 1939, to Robert D. Barker and Minnie Mae (Mathis) Barker. She entered heavens gates on August 30, 2020 in Sherwood, Arkansas with her family surrounding her at the age of 81. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Orval Ray Jones; daughter, Mary Sue Jones; seven brothers; and three sisters. Evelyn is survived by husband, Leslie Cunningham; daughter, Martha (Jones) Bennett, and husband, Danny, of Russellville; sister, Betty Howell, and husband, Jack, of Solgohachia; granddaughter, Jade Dixon Laymon of Atkins; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Motley, Lennon Laymon, and Sophie Hill; many nieces and nephews, along with a host of other family and friends. Visitation service will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at the Bob Neal and Sons Chapel. Funeral Services will follow 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at the same location with Bro. Jim Mullins officiating.
