Roland Thomas "Tom" Eley, Jr.

Roland Thomas "Tom" Eley, Jr., 74, of Alexander, Ark., husband of LaMona Shelton Eley, left this earth today April 9, 2021 to see his Lord. Tom was born July 26, 1946 in Pensacola, Fla., and was raised in Little Rock, Ark., to RT and Nancye Jane Eley. He served in the National Guard and was a graduate of UCA in Conway with an accounting degree. He was in the Sig Tau Gamma Fraternity. Tom owned and operated his accounting business, Eley and Co. CPA. He was a graduate of Catholic High. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, LaMona Shelton Eley; brother, John R. Eley (Angie); sister-in-law, Melanie Dulaney (Don); nephew, Ryan Eley, Ricky Thomas and Nick Dulaney; nieces: Cassidy Eley Lawler, Tammy Pierce and Stacy Dulaney. He loved all of his family very much and a very special dedicated friend, Deborah Minor. And all of his clients over the years who were so very dear to him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Cathy Thomas. A special thank you to all of his caretakers, Baptist hospital, 9th Floor, and Hospice Home Care of Little Rock. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Pinecrest Funeral Home with Father Whittington of Christ the King Catholic Church.
