Charles Edwin Prestridge

Charles Edwin Prestridge, 83, of Sheridan, Ark., went to his Heavenly home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was born March 5, 1938, in Smackover, Ark., the son of the late Leslie Josh Prestridge and Letha Mae Johnson Prestridge. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Edgar Prestridge, of Vivian, La.; L. J. Prestridge, Jr; Edna Mae Prestridge Cottrell; Eloise Prestridge Holmes. Survivors include his wife. Carolyn Ann Andrews Moore Prestridge of Sheridan, Ark.; sons, Russell Allen Prestridge (Jeni) of Hot Springs, Ark., and Charles Wesley Prestridge (Donna) of Oden, Ark.; daughter, Sharon Gayle Prestridge of Jackson, Miss.; Melanie Moore Rothwell (Jim) of Arkadelphia; Krista Moore Pyle (Michael) of Edwardsville, Illinois; and Holly Moore Baldridge (David) of Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren: Alexa Paige Prestridge; William Prestridge; Stephen Rothwell; Mary Rothwell; Rebecca Baldridge; and Chase Pyle. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Sasha. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., at the cemetery. The family would like to thank friends, family, and Saline Memorial Hospice in Benton, Ark., who have surrounded us with love and prayers during this time.
