Vivian Marie Mackzum Hall, at 98 years old, is in God's loving embrace as of Sunday, April 25, 2021. She was a WAVE in WWII, while her new husband, William Withers Hall, was away fighting in Africa, Italy, and Germany. She is survived by her children, Barbara (John) Rhodes of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Withers Bryan Hall of Silverdale, Washington, William Douglas (Sandie) Hall of Gaffney, South Carolina, as well as five grands and multiple great-grands. Helping others is what kept her behind the wheel until she was 95. She worked at Stiffs Jewelers, downtown and at University Mall, in the mid 1960's. Later in her career she was the buyer for the china, silver and crystal department at La Vake's, located across the street from Princeton University. She was known on a first name basis at Tiffany's in NYC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, or St. Jude hospital in Memphis. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 3, at 10 a.m., at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Military honor guard will be present at the interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger, Kentucky. An online condolence book may be signed at: RuebelFuneralHome.com
