Larry Marlin Hall, 70, of Pine Bluff, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, due to COVID. Larry was born December 12, 1950, in Bastrop, La., to the late Joseph Marlin Hall and Barbara Muse Hall. Larry graduated from Grady High School in Grady, Ark., in 1968. He proudly served in the Arkansas National Guard. Larry began his 46 ½ year career at International Paper, which became Evergreen Packaging, before his retirement as Senior Area Process Manager over finishing and shipping and the extruder department. Larry was a longtime faithful member of Green Meadows Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, and also a member of Coleman Hunting Club. Larry was an excellent welder and mechanic. His hobbies included building trailers and deer stands, gardening, and restoring a 1936 Chevrolet. Larry was married to the love of his life, Carol Carter Hall, for over 50 years. They married April 5, 1971, at Green Meadows Baptist Church. Larry and Carol have two wonderful sons, of whom Larry was so proud: Shane Carter Hall (Amanda) of Stockton, Ala., and Spencer Marlin Hall (Erica) of St. Petersburg, Fla. He has one grandson, Carter Steele Hall of Stockton, Ala., that he was looking forward to moving near and getting to fish with on a regular basis. He is also survived by his 93 year old mother, Barbara Hall; one sister, Donna Dutton (Garry) of Palmyra; one brother, Mike Hall (Becky) of Greenbrier; and many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID, there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held, performed by Bro. Russell Jasper.
