Rickey David Rock

Rickey David Rock, 72, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away Saturday, August 7, in Little Rock, Ark. Rick was born Sept. 16, 1948, to Mary Bet and Allie Hiram Rock in Holly Grove, Monroe County, Arkansas. Rick was a retired grocer and a lifelong Arkansas Razorback fan. He was a proud graduate of Holly Grove High School and enjoyed visiting with friends and family, fishing, watching old western movies and listening to Motown music. Rick is survived by his daughter, Teresa Grantham and son-in-law, Ryan Grantham of Hot Springs, Ark., two sons and daughters-in-law, Sean and Misty Rock of Greenwood, Ark., and Stephen and Vanessa Rock of Orlando, Fla. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Lily Grantham, Ben and Layla Rock, Kylee and Ella Thompson and a host of loving friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Bet and Allie Rock, of Holly Grove and his brother, Billy Marion Rock of Jackson, Tenn. A celebration of Rickey's life will be held at a later date.
