Shelby "Ross" Conley

SHELBY "ROSS" CONLEY, 66, answered his call from Earth to Glory on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Cato and Mrs. Mary Perry Conley. He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife, Faye Dokes-Conley; daughter, Tiffany Conley; granddaughter, Alyssa Conley-Toler of Grand Prairie; Texas; siblings: brother, Horace Conley of North Little Rock; three sisters: Ada (Jesse) Gatewood of Little Rock, Rev. Patsy (Andy) Wright, Jr. of Sherwood, Mary Dean Conley of North Little Rock; sister/cousin, Annie Mae (Clifford) Morgan of Little Rock. He was a 1975 graduate of Northeast High School and a lifetime member of Saint Stephen's Baptist Church, Dixie, North Little Rock. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and the National Guard, and he retired from John L McClellan after 35 years. Mr. Conley also was a crossing guard for the North Little Rock School District. Service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at Samaritan Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 924 E. 14th, North Little Rock. Rev. Bobby Acklin, senior pastor, Dr. Robert Jenkins, eulogist. Final resting place: Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, Ark. Due to COVID, masks are required.
