Gregory "Greg" Holland

Gregory Cleveland "Greg" Holland, age 47, of Redfield, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. Born July 13,1974 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of Rose Skodzenski and the late Grover Cleveland Holland, and graduated from White Hall High School in 1992. He later earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration from SEARK College, a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Central Baptist College, and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He also served in the United States Army for six years. Greg had worked as a police officer for the Pine Bluff Police Department for 16 years, where he was on the SWAT team and worked in cybercrimes investigation. He also worked as the lead criminal investigator for the Veteran's Affairs Law Enforcement Training Center at Little Rock for the past 10 years. He was an active member of Family Church/White Hall, serving as a deacon, youth ministry leader, and led the church's security team. One of his most active ministries was as a leader in the Celebrate Recovery Program. Survivors include three daughters, Alyssa Holland Parsley (Charlie), Charlee Holland, and Madasyn Holland; his mother, Rose Skodzenki; his fiancee, Kimberleigh Billingsley Waters; brothers, Steve Holland (Teresa), and Wayne Holland (Jeannie); two sisters, Terri Holland Butler (Paul), and Laurie Holland Prentiss (Greg); a bonus daughter, Ashleigh Waters; two bonus grandchildren, River and Kohen; a friend and father-figure, Donnie "Mr. B" Billingsley; five nieces; three nephews; four great-nieces; and seven great-nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 19, 2021, 2 p.m. at Family Church/White Hall with Pastors Stephen Harrison and Dan McDonald officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Following the family's wishes, masks will be required to attend the service.
