James Jones

Mr. James "Jim" Jones, 73, of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Mountain Home. He was born March 13, 1948, in Newport, Ark., to James Richard and Thelma Lois (Daniels) Jones. He was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, graduate of Hall High school, and attendee of Williams College (Southern Baptist College). He married Sharon Kay Garrison on February 13, 1970, and retired from the Arkansas Department of Health after 38 years. Jim is survived by his wife of the home; two sisters, Celia Jamison of Sheridan, Ark., and Janet Babb of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Leonard Neil (LeeAnn) of Little Rock; five nephews, Bryan Jamison, Garrison Wedgeworth, Scott Babb, Zack Jones, and Jason Jones; two nieces, Jennifer Smith and Kaylee Wedgeworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Benny. All services will be private. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.
