Alma Frances Fry

Photo of Alma Frances Fry
On Monday morning, February 8, 2021, Alma Frances Fry took Jesus' hand and made the walk with Him into paradise. She was happily greeted by her mother and father, Minnie and Sam, her beloved son, Luke; her brothers, Harold and Franklin; and a host of friends and relatives that preceded her passing. She was a dedicated mother, beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, favorite aunt, and devoted friend to all she met. She was born on November 3, 1926, in Buhler, Kan. Although she never had a birthday party as a child, she never missed attending a birthday party, sending a birthday card, or decorating a cake for a family birthday. We will miss her cooking, her smiles, her stories, her laughter, her joy of life, her love of children, her beautifully decorated cakes, and her pride in "being 94 years old" but not looking like it. She is survived by her three daughters: Bonnie Jean "Jeannie", Diane, and Toni (Peter); 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, all who look forward to being lovingly greeted with her open arms when we take the same walk someday that she has taken. The family wishes to thank Kindred Hospice for the care and assistance provided. A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place in Kansas, at a future date, when the weather is warmer, where her remains will be interred next to her mother and father. The family requests that donations in her honor be made to either your favorite charity or the Lakeview Village Foundation https://www.lakeviewvillage.org/foundation/ or make a check payable to Lakeview Village Foundation with "Ridgeview" in the memo line, 9100 Park Street, Lenexa, Kan., 66215.
