Chauncey LaDell Sumpter, Sr., 57, of Omaha, Neb., departed this life February 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents: Herschel and Cleopatra Sumpter and siblings: Isaiah Sumpter and Linda Sumpter. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Dr. Brittany C. Sumpter and Chauncey LaDell Sumpter, II; siblings: Doris Thomas, Joyce Sumpter, Herscher Sumpter, Alvin Sumpter and Johnnie Sumpter, Sr. and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
