Jerry Don Brust

Jerry Don Brust, 80, passed away January 7, 2021. He was born February 25, 1940 in Rogers to Lawrence and Pauline Brust. He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather Francis Wilson of Rogers, and one sister, Ramona Chapman of Albuquerque, N.M. An avid motorcycle racer throughout the 1960's and 70's, Jerry was a highly skilled machinist and mechanical designer. He enjoyed restoring vintage European motorcycles, trap shooting, and golfing. He was a loving Father and perfect role model. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janice Bender Brust; two sons, Derek Randall Brust of Melbourne, Fla., and Darrin Neal Brust of Cypress, Texas; five grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, Amanda, Allysyn and Olivia; two half-sisters Carolyn Tyler and Marilyn Smith of Conway, Ark., and one stepsister Joye Crumley of East Peoria, Ill. Visitation Monday; January 11, 2021 from 6-7 p.m., at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth Street, Rogers. Private interment in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
