Earl Edward Vick, 76, of Crossett, formerly of Pine Bluff, went home to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, January 6, 2021, where he will continue to enjoy fishing & gardening, with Jesus. Earl loved the Lord, and while living in West Fork, he pastored First Presbyterian Church until 2017, when he moved his family to Crossett. He was a Devoted Christian, Loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Born May 10, 1944, in Warren, to the late Elbert Lee and Nora Inez Adair Vick. He Graduated in 1963, from Pine Bluff High School and joined the United States Navy, to follow in the footsteps of his dad. In 2003, after 33 years, he retired as Mechanical Foreman from Union Pacific Railroad. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Harris and Vickie Lee Peterman. Left to cherish his memory is, the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Eddie Jacks Vick, whom he married May 3, 1968; one brother, Donald Ray (Lillie) Vick of Alabama; three daughters, Sheri Gibson, Amy (Herman) Johnson and Misti (Duane) Avery, all of Crossett; eight grandchildren, Christen Brown of Fayetteville; Shane Brown of Oklahoma; Dylan Pierce (Krisxan), Laci Brooke, Gracie Faith, Praycie Promise, Maycie Miracle and Zaycie Hope Avery, all of Crossett; two pup-kids, Pippi and Rascal; five, grand-pets; Kaydee, Molly, Lucy, Salt and Pepper, plus numerous cousins and other family. We would like to thank the staff of John L. McClellan Veterans Memorial hospital, in Little Rock, for their dedication to our dad. The family will have a "sharing of memories" service, officiated by Pastor Joey Johnson of First Free Will Baptist Church, in Crossett, at a later date. Until then, we will rejoice in the Lord.
