Daniel Lee Hart, Jr., 91, of Carlisle, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Daniel was born on December 30, 1929, in Lonoke County to the late Daniel Lee Hart, Sr., and Anna Chambers Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 65 years, Pauline Jones Hart; granddaughter, Brittany Cole; brother, R.L. Hart; and sisters, Martha Thompson, Ella Mae Eason, Grace Burleson and Margarette Simpson. He is survived by six children, Paulette (Hugh) Daniels, Jimmy Hart, Garry (Tere') Hart, Carolyn Cole, Sandra (Mike) Smith and Lisa (Kenny) McFarlin; 13 grandchildren, Clint (Michelle) Daniels, Charlie (Misty) Daniels, Dustin (Bridgette) Hart, Danielle Hart, Joe Lee Hart, LaShana (Kyle) Gisclair, Bobby Riley, Tiffany (Jeremey) Mills, Jana (Michael) Gibson, Susanna Gray, Clayton Yarnell, Ky (Brooke) McFarlin and Brandon (Kelsey) McFarlin; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Hart and Paul (Diane) Hart; sisters, Peggy DeHart and Mary Etta White; sisters-n-law, Marian (Charles) Hackett, Betty Jones and Pat Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Daniel was a member of Carlisle Pentecostal Church of God. He was a strong Christian and a kind, gentle, loving example to his family and anyone who knew him. He cherished his family and loved spending time with them, always making them feel welcomed and loved. Daniel was a retired minnow and fish farmer and was a passionate hunter, trapper and fisherman. He will forever be missed and loved. The family would like to say a special thank you for the care he received at Chambers Nursing Home. He had many wonderful loving caregivers. Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021, in Flynn Cemetery with a visitation beginning at 1 p.m. In accordance with Arkansas guideline, all persons in attendance will be required to wear facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
