Jeffrey Lee Pyle, 56, of Little Rock, passed away on January 9, 2021. Jeff was born on July 22, 1964, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Larkin and Pat Price Pyle. He was preceded in death by his father, Larkin; his son, Clint Conley; and one of his best friends, his father-in-law, Bill Foreman. Jeff was a compassionate, selfless person who was always ready to help someone in need. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around outdoorsman. Some of his favorite times were spent hunting bear in Canada and bison in Texas; deep sea fishing; and fishing for brim and catfish in Arkansas. His greatest joy was spending time at home with his wife, Kathy, enjoying the outdoors on their property feeding deer, bird watching, observing wildlife, and catering to Garfield, his rescue cat from Iowa. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy of Little Rock; sons, Dakota Pyle of Little Rock and Josh Pyle of Searcy; daughter, Emily Wylie of Hermitage, Tennessee, and their families; mother, Pat Pyle and brother, Joe Pyle of North Little Rock; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. The family extends a special thank you to the CCU staff at CHI St. Vincent. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, specifically for the purpose of helping support youth education in the outdoors, Attention: Deke Whitbeck, 2 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205 or to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 19, from 6–8 p.m., at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, January 20, at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park. State of Arkansas COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required.
