Daniel Webster McLemore

Daniel Webster McLemore, age 92, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born April 6, 1928, in Richton, Miss., the son of Lawrence & Beulah Bradley McLemore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis McLemore; a son, Daniel McLemore; and five brothers: L.C. McLemore, Tommy McLemore, Ralph McLemore, S.T. McLemore, and J.D. McLemore; and a sister, Bernice Buford. He was a retired Supervisor of The Lighthouse for the Blind in New Orleans, La., and also had previously worked on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. While in the Army he earned the Army Boxing Championship title. He is survived by three daughters: Deborah M Baham and her husband Paul, Earlene Thomas and her husband Stan, and Robin Harderson and her husband Stan; two sons: Mitchell McLemore and his wife Liz, and Les Mangum and his partner, Craig Spears; 10 nieces and nephews; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. Memorials may be made to The Lymphoma Society, P.O.
