Jacqueline Ruth Rozell entered eternal life with her Lord on January 29, 2021. She was born November 6, 1937, in Breckenridge, Texas, the only child of Jack and Ruth Cornelison. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Audrey A. Rozell. Other survivors are her son, Jeffrey Griffin and wife Mary of Nolensville, Tenn.; a daughter, Jeannine Brazzeal and husband Jeff of Bentonville, Ark.; grandchildren, Arden Brazzeal and Josh Griffin; step-children, son Phillip Rozell and wife Dana of West Fork, Ark.; grandchildren, Roger Rozell and wife Claudia, Stephanie Pennington and husband Dustin, Eli Holland and wife Liz, and Aftin Blake; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Owen Rozell, Gavin and Audrey Kayson Pennington, Marley and Kory Castor, Braxton and Brody Holland, Jazlyn and Dallas Blake; and dear friends Bob and Sharon Lee. Her true passion was music. She became playing piano at age seven and played for her first church service at age 12. She graduated from Texas A&M, Commerce with degrees in Elementary Education, Music Education, and Piano Performance. She taught in the public-school system for 28 years including third grade, ESL, Music, and Choir. She was an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church, member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers, Anna Frank Artist American Guild of American Organist, Fort Worth chapter. Organist for First Methodist Church, Ranger, Texas, First Christian Church, Breckenridge, Texas, Christ the King Lutheran in Bentonville, Ark., and substitute organist for First Presbyterian Church, Rogers, Ark. She was an active member of PEO Chapter "U". Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers from 4-6 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10 a.m. To view a live stream of the service, please visit my.gather.app/remember/jacqueline-rozell.
