Wayne Robert Knowles

Wayne Robert Knowles went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2021, after battling pulmonary fibrosis and congestive heart failure. He was born on June 10, 1940, in middle Granville, N.Y., to Robert and Leona Brown Knowles. Wayne came to Northwest Arkansas searching for purpose in life. He heard the gospel and accepted Jesus as his Savior and finally had a purpose in life. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald, and nephew Ronald Pekar. He is survived by his wife Linda; sister, Gail Pekar and husband Joe; nieces, Alma, Valerie; and nephew, Erick; brother-in-law, Raymond Bennett and wife Margaret; sister-in-law, Mary Keyser and family; and many friends. He was kind and giving person and enjoyed having coffee with his friends, watching westerns and football and going to Bible study. He was employed by McClinton Anchor Construction Company for 31 years. No services are planned at Wayne's request. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark.
