Louise Vaughn Hooker

Louise Vaughn Hooker, 83, passed away June 3, 2021. She was born June 11, 1937, in DeWitt to Hilton and Irene Capps Vaughn. She retired as secretary at Stuttgart Grain Drier/Riceland Foods. Louise enjoyed cooking and baking, and being at Cold Springs. She especially loved her babies. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, R.D. Hooker; and four sisters, Betty Jane Richardson, E'Lois Stocks, Dorothy Phelps, and Melba Macky. She is survived by her children, Susie Curton of Stuttgart, Vicki Stubblefield of Casscoe, Terry Hooker of Stuttgart, and Ronnie Fraize of Vilonia; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The family would like to thank Chambers Nursing Home of Carlisle for their loving care.
