John B. Trafford

John B. Trafford, age 83, of Plumerville, Ark., passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born March 10, 1938 in Plumerville, Ark., a son of the late William Ernest Trafford, and Clydia J. McKuin Trafford. He was the widower of Evelyn Williams Trafford, and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. John was raised in Hillcreek, graduated from Plumerville High School, and was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. He is survived by his daughter: Marcia (Rick) Charton of Morrilton; two sons: John A. (Karen) Trafford and Gary Trafford both of Plumerville; five grandchildren: Jason and Justin Charton, Derrick Trafford, Candice Rogers, and Christina Eldridge; and nine great-grandchildren: Heaven and Hallie Valentine, Addie and Jackson Charton, Alexa, Hollan, Sydney, and Ellison Charton, and Abigail Trafford. Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother: Winfred Trafford; sister: Joy Ann Brown; and a great-grandson: Samuel A. Trafford. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 25, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Bro. Mike Cantrell and Blake Martin officiating. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
