On September 30th, 2021 Jimmy Carol Barnard, Sr., aka "Papaw Jim", went home to be with his Heavenly Father. Jimmy Carol was born on November 2, 1944 in Haynesville Louisiana. He is proceeded in death by his parents Geraldine Posey and Ray Barnard and his Grandparents. He is survived by his Son Jimmy Carol Barnard Jr. of Cabot, Ark., and daughter Kimberly Barnard Smith and son Michael Brent Barnard. Grandson Blain Smith of Sardis, Ark., and granddaughter Ashlie Barnard of Denver, Colo., Bonnie Brighton Barnard of London, England and Hannah Barnard of Booneville, Ark., and great-grandson Cecilio Martinez in addition to numerous extended family.
Jimmy Carol was a free spirit loved by many who never met a stranger and was always looking forward to the next adventure. An avid outdoorsman Jimmy Carol loved sharing the outdoors with his children. Known to those closest to him by "JimmyCarol" he will always be remembered but never forgotten. Online guestbook:
Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held Monday October 4th from 6–8 p.m.,
at Saline Missionary Baptist Church, 8210 North Main, Tull, Ark., 72015. Services will be held at Roller Drummond Funeral Home I-30 at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday October 5, 2021.
