Bradley "Brad" Scott VonTungeln, age 39, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, after a long battle with the autoimmune kidney disorder membranous nephropathy. He had most recently been under evaluation by a geneticist for a urea cycle disorder of the liver, which brought great complexity to his treatment. Brad was born to Lisa Marie VonTungeln Chambliss on June 2, 1982. He was raised by his aunts, Rosie and Suzy along with his pop and mama, Billy Ray and Nancy Mae VonTungeln, who preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother, Lisa Chambliss (Sherman), brother, Joshua Chambliss (Rachel Shue), sister, Miranda Hays (Charlie), his aunt, Karen Chambliss (Dale), uncle, Ray VonTungeln (Regina), cousins, Corey Chambliss (Mercy), Katie Thomason (Zak), Kristen Bush (Thomas), Michael VonTungeln (Heather), Rikki Cryer (Justin), Syann Mason and Zaria McCants, and nephew, Jaxson Chambliss. Surviving him as well are his chosen brother and friend, Matthew Studdard (Kendell) who was his constant companion and caregiver during his illness and who was a great source of strength for the family, Lathan Wayne Aaron, and his best buddy Willie. He also leaves behind his beloved aunts, Rose Mary VonTungeln and Linda Sue "Suzy" VonTungeln, whose lives were dedicated to his upbringing. Their lives will never be the same without his constant presence. Brad also leaves many more cousins and friends behind as well. Most recently he looked forward to the upcoming birth of his niece, Mary Frances Hays, who will now have Uncle Brad for a guardian angel. Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2021, from 5-7 p.m., at Ralph Robinson and Son. A Memorial Service with Reverend Jai Kwak officiating, will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11 a.m., at Central Presbyterian Church. His ashes will be disbursed at a later date.
