Nancy Hall died peacefully of natural causes while surrounded by family at her home on October 7, 2021. She was born in Adona, Ark., on October 12, 1935, to Wylie Clyde and Maida Holbrook Barr. Nancy was raised in Little Rock and graduated from Little Rock Central High School before graduating from Arkansas Teachers College (University of Central Arkansas) in Conway, she taught third grade at Sylvan Hills Elementary School in the PCSSD for 25 years before retiring in 1986. Nancy was a faithful member of Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church in and served as the music director for many years while making lifelong friends of many of her music students. She moved to Heber Springs in 1990. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Robert Hall of Heber Springs, daughter Melody (Glenn) Bolick of White Hall, sons Daniel (Ruth) Hall of Guy, Kenneth (Christie) Hall of Greenbrier, and John Robert Hall (Donna) of Bremerton, Wash. Nancy is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Pearson Cemetery in Quitman, Ark.
