Marilyn Lu Graue

Marilyn Lu Graue, 91, of Bentonville, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Jamestown Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born September 12, 1930, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Otis L. Weir and Hazel Lucille Thompson Weir. Marilyn was a member of Elmdale Baptist Church since 1959 where she sang in the choir and the senior choir. She served as the Deputy Tax Collector in Washington County for many years. She was the office manager of Ozarks Electric in Springdale for many years. She also volunteered with the Springdale Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She and her husband had a big garden and she enjoyed tending to it. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herb Graue, one daughter, Nancy Saia; one granddaughter, Jessica Liebig; and one son-in-law, Gary Emmett. Survivors include three children, one son, Mike Graue and wife Alicia of Rogers, two daughters, Debbie Emmett of Springdale and Luanne Reinhardt and husband Wayne of Melbourne, Florida; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 1 p.m., at Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Rodney Weeks officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Visitation will be on Friday, April 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the church. Online condolences may be left at: www.siscofuneral.com
