Steven "Steve" Hampton Grage, was born May 11, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Allan Parker Grage and Constance "Connie" Kihneman Grage. Steve grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he attended Highland Park High School and developed a love of rock and roll music. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where he joined the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and met lifelong friends. Steve was at home on the lakes of Central Texas and always enjoyed water skiing and boating. After a number of years in Austin, Texas, Steve moved to Northwest Arkansas in the late 1990s. He settled down in Fayetteville and quickly fell in love with the natural beauty of Northwest Arkansas. Automobiles were another lifelong passion, and Steve was a natural fit for sales. He quickly rose to be one of the most successful client advisors in the history of BMW of Northwest Arkansas. Adored for his wit, charm, and business acumen by colleagues and clients, Steve served the dealership for 28 years and received numerous awards and recognitions. Steve's pride and joy was found in his children, Caroline and Otto, who loved him dearly. Steve is survived by his daughter, Caroline Hampton Grage and her mother, Paula Jane Grage; Otto Oliver Beecher Smith, and his mother, Emily Jordan Smith; his mother, Connie Kihneman Grage; his brother, Douglas Parker Grage; his sister, Alison Grage Fleming and her husband Jason and their children, Parker (Mary Elizabeth), Hunter, Mary Frances, and Henry. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Allan Parker Grage of Dallas, Texas. Steve was grateful for the hard working medical team that cared for him during his illness.
