Aubira Jackson "Jack" Lay

Aubira Jackson "Jack" Lay, 85, of Searcy, Ark., passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was born April 24, 1936, at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, to Walter and Bertha (Permenter) Lay. He was a member of New Life Church. Jack is survived by his wife of 19 years, Melinda (Willis) Lay; sons, Tim Lay (Denise) of Eugene, Oregon, and Trevor Lay (Tonya) of Sherwood; daughter, Stephanie Lisenby (Marie) of Searcy; grandchildren, Joseph Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey, Hannah Ramsey, all of Searcy, Taven Lay, Tempy Lay, both of Sherwood; his sister, Geralda Rackley of Beebe; his loving dog, Henry; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Visitation will be 5:24-7:24 p.m., Tuesday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
