Elihu Samuel Stewart, Jr.

Elihu Samuel Stewart Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., 1955-2022. Elihu Samuel Stewart Jr. was born on July 7, 1955, in Little Rock to Elihu Stewart Sr. and Emma Jean Stewart. He graduated from Parkview High School in 1973. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Elihu attended and graduated from Arkansas Tech University. Elihu worked for Safeway and Kroger's Food Stores for over 35 years. Elihu is currently a member Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Elihu is survived by his wife, Sandra Stewart; children, Torrie Achan (Joey), Sherrie Norwood (Sam), Christina Jones (Corey), Elihu Stewart III (Diandra), and Brandon Evans (June); siblings, Wyndolyn Jackson (Roy), and George Stewart (Cindy); baby "sister" Stacye Nichols; 11 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. A celebration of Elihu's life will be held at the church, Friday, April 15, 2022. There will be a public viewing at 10 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m. at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1700 S. State Street, Little Rock, Ark. Covid protocol- Mask Required.
