Jimmy Dariel Jones

Jimmy Dariel Jones, 75, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on the 4th of April 2022. Jimmy was born on January 20, 1947, in DeWitt, Ark., son of Herman and Lorene Padgett Jones. He later met and married Ruby "Ann" Moore Jones. Jimmy proudly served as a Medical Specialist in the U.S. Army National Guard of Arkansas for 13 years. He was also a teacher at McRae schools, a principal at Lonoke schools, and Superintendent of Schools in St. Charles, Dermott, Hope, and Mena, Ark., for 23 years. He retired to Brownsville, Texas, to be near his son, Brett Clement, and granddaughter, Bernadette Clement. Preceding Jimmy in death were his parents, Herman and Lorene P. Jones. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Ruby "Ann" Jones; his son, Brett Clement; and his granddaughter, Bernadette Clement.
