Judy F. Fumiko Akino Uramoto Ellis

Judy F. Fumiko Akino Uramoto Ellis, 92, of Mabelvale, formally of Cumomoto, Japan, passed away on April 10, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1929, and was raised by her maternal grandmother, Tsuki Yasunoju. Judy came to the United States at the age of 20. She married Bobby R. Ellis, Sr. in 1951 and was married for 40 plus years until his death in 1991. Judy retired from Timex and was a dedicated, proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby R. Ellis, Sr., daughter, Deborah C. Bean, grandson, Michael R. "Hermie" Young and granddaughter, Carrie Young. Judy is survived by her daughters, Karen D. Young, Sharron G. Nichols, sons, Bobby R. Ellis, Jr. and Michael R. Ellis; grandchildren, Jason Young, Christopher Young, Jeanne Nichols Jones, Danny "Bubba" Nichols, Robert R. "Robby" Ellis, Christopher L. Ellis, Robbie Bean, Rachel Bean and Danielle Stasner; seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends, including a special friend and daughter, Jeanne Ellis Atchley, who lovingly cared for her. Pallbearers will be Robert Ellis, Christopher Ellis, Jarred Green, Ronald Delk, Robert Martin and Carl Martin. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 2 p.m., on Friday, April 15, with burial to follow at Salem Cemetery.
