George Harvey Campbell

George Harvey Campbell passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, attended by his youngest son. George is survived by sons Philip, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Peter and his wife Susan, of Fayetteville, Ark.; as well as stepson Kenneth of Fort Smith, Ark.; step-daughters, Theresa and her husband Gerald, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Lisa and her husband Gregory, of Fayetteville, Ark.; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and too many friends and loved ones to mention. George was preceded in death by wives Jeannine of Orange, Calif., and Margaret Elizabeth of Fort Smith, Ark. George was born on February 13, 1933, in San Diego, Calif., to Lloyd and Gladys. After serving in the Air Force during the Korean War, he met and married Jeannine, began his career as an aerospace engineer, started a family, and moved to Orange, Calif. After the passing of his first wife, George was fortunate enough to find love a second time with Margaret, which connected him to a second family of loved ones. Everyone blessed to have George in their lives noted his generous and compassionate nature. No services are planned per George's wishes. The family will inter his remains at Riverside National Cemetery at a future date. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers.
