David "Dusty" Van Reen Henage, 73, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Saturday at his home. He was born March 23, 1949, in Fulton, Mo., the son of Vernon and Rose Van Reen Henage. Dusty was a 1967 graduate of Fulton High School, he loved his hometown of Fulton, Mo., and was a lifetime member of the Fulton VFW. Dusty was a veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam-era. In his earlier days he enjoyed racing and restoring cars. Some of his other past-times included playing golf, bowling, softball and woodworking. He married his wife, Sandra, in 1979, and they celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this past June. He was a loving husband, a great father and brother, and a wonderful grandfather. Dusty is preceded in death by his parents, and he is survived by his wife, Sandy Henage, of the home; one son, David Henage; one daughter, Kathleen and husband Michael Coughlin; two grandchildren, Elle Coughlin and Collin Coughlin; one brother, John and wife Suzanne Henage of Columbia, Mo.; niece, Amy Rigg; and nephew, Casey Henage; one sister-in-law, Susan Sheehan of Warwick, Pa.; one niece, Jill McLean; and one nephew, Scott Sheehan. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday August 12, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13th, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Springtown Cemetery.
